So, how many of you remember Windows 3.1? Ok, fine. How many of you were alive when Windows 3.1 came out. Anyway, there was this great game on it called Jezzball (please be careful with the spelling of that one!) that involved cutting off areas of a level while little balls bounced around (it recently got a Flash modernization by the name of Colorfill). I mention it because I feel like Filler is a spiritual successor to Jezzball, and that’s definitely a compliment.
In Filler, you have to create little circles to cut off areas in a level while evil little balls bounce around trying to kill you. It’s a simple game, yet rather compelling. The physics are mostly solid, though occasionally a ball will glitch out and pop up to the top-right of the screen. This can be annoying, but if you know about it in advance (as you now do!) you can avoid accidental deaths. I also found the game to be a bit easy – it takes far too long for the difficulty to ramp up to a point that you really need to start paying attention, which gets annoying if you want to play it more than a couple times. In general though, it’s a solid game and fairly fun to play.
Nemesis
I agree that it takes too long to difficult, but once you do get the levels were it starts to push you, it becomes a pretty good game.
