The long awaited side scrolling platformer has finally been released, and you can nab it for only $5 on Steam.

The soundtrack is wonderful and the artwork is amazing  but sadly the gameplay is a bit on the simple side and un-refined (jumping between platforms can definitely lead to a bit of frustration), although nonetheless if you are into Indie games this is definitely worth checking out.

Kongai new cards coming
By: Colin Robinson | August 2nd, 2008

Announced earlier this week apparently there is a bunch of new cards coming to Kongai, all are done by the new artist team working on Kongai ‘Massive Black‘.

When a company is sitting on a goldmine, you wouldn’t expect them to want to do anything else. SquareEnix has Final Fantasy; Nintendo has Mario, Zelda, and Metroid; Bungie has Halo; Valve has Half-Life. Sometimes these companies will take a brief step away from those franchises and make a game that goes relatively unnoticed, or, if it does gather a great deal of exposure, eventually fades from the forefront due to a lack of support and consistency.

By: DanZ | August 1st, 2008

When college student Bostjan Cadez posted his school flash project “Line Rider” on deviantART back in 2006 he had no idea that it would become an internet phenomenon. If you aren’t familiar with the project, you can check it out here. Youtube is also filled with videos of some of the more crazy tracks set to music. Here’s a personal favorite. Pretty cool right?

Cadez’s little flash toy caused such a stir around the net that gaming industry execs couldn’t help but take notice. A mobile version was released in 2007 and it wasn’t long before InXile Games announced Line Rider 2: Unbound for the Nintendo DS, Wii and PC. Thankfully the two Nintendo consoles with their unique control mechanics seem a perfect fit for Line Rider’s big commercial debut.

In a recent interview Line Rider 2’s project leader Chris Keenan detailed a few of the differences between his upcoming project and the original flash version.

InstantAction is a gaming site made by GarageGames that features easy to navigate 3D games. Most of them aren’t all that spectacular except for the fact that you are playing fully 3D games in your browser, but a recent release really caught my eye. Fallen Empire: Legions a fast paced FPS with graphics that define next-gen browser games.

After playing a round or two you will most likely be dissapointed with any other browser game since this one raises the bar so high, but fear not, InstantAction gets new games often and always has more being developed. So is this what we should be expecting from future? You bet!
