IMO, tha MC's suit is probably designed for battle, so it's gonna look like it's for battle, not like Gears' bulky armor (I mean, HOW the hell is anyone gonna fight properly in such a large suit?!) The armour thats mostly used here is "Symbolic". Armour you just put on for a few lvls DOESNT make it here as there are thousands of cool armour pieces out there that could have been applied.
