Owl Boy lands with a Hoot

Announced late last week is the new game by D-Pad Studio, Owl Boy. Owl Boy is an upcoming 2D adventure platformer available on Windows and the XBox360.
The artwork looks fantastic, and the artist has described the game as a ‘free-roaming adventure game with dungeons’. With a unconfirmed release date of 2009 it definitely looks like it will be something worth holding out for.

Looks sick. The art style reminds me of the adventure games of old. I need to get me one ‘a those Xbox thingies.

I’ll agree that the artwork does look, different, but it seem like it could be a great game. And 2009 doesn’t seem that far away.
