Cave Story getting a WiiWare release!
By: Colin Robinson | October 3rd, 2008

In today’s Nintendo press release they announced that the classic Freeware Indie game ‘Cave Story’ is making a jump to Wiiware, including exclusive content and exclusive features made for the WiiWare version. Original gameplay footage after the jump.
No doubt they will breathe some more life into Cave Story and get it a lot more publicity. If you haven’t already played it you can snag a copy of it here.
We might go back and do a full review for the PC Cave Story to help build up the hype.

Looks interesting. Like Mario Bros. with shooting. I’ll give it a try for sure.

Interesting… I wonder what kind of deal Nintendo is giving Pixel. Looks like the big guys are learning the value of indie game devs.

Looks like ‘Legend of the Wizard” but fancy, and even harder. May give it a shot.

Holy crap… This is a game I’ve been wanting to play ever since I saw the first gameplay, but my inability to play downloaded games (Due to my parent’s distaste for anything downloaded.) put a serious hitch in my happiness meter. (Note to self: Life isn’t the Sims…)
