In our continued Flash walkthroughs coverage this week we have Gateway II, a somewhat dated(2007) by flash standards, puzzler. Gateway II won multiple awards on its release, and is still a great game to play through.

So check it out, and use the walkthrough when you get stuck.

Ok, first off I’m going to label the doors, so from left to right they’ll be numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, simple enough right? Alright let’s get to it, go through door number one and you’ll be in a hallway, continue to the end of the hallway and click the light white button by the door on the left, now enter the bathroom

Bathroom: Grab the mirror sitting on the counter.  Now click on the bathroom  mirror and click the knob on the sink that’ll turn on the hot water, (The one on the right.) just wait and numbers will pop up now memorize those and go back to the full view of the bathroom, now click on the number pad located on the bottom right cabinet, enter those four number, now grab the video tape from inside the cabinet, now go back to the hallway.

Hallway (Of door number one.): Walk to the door on the right, an eye has popped up and is blocking your way so go under the light and grab the mirror in the inventory and choose to use it with the eye, (You have to be near the middle of the glow from the light bulb.)Main room: Now walk up to the tv and insert the video, now click the transfer button and when they’re done transferring watch them to learn about the plot, once that’s done go into door number 4.

Hallway (Of door number 4.): Ok now this is a walking puzzle oh joy! Now I’ve labeled the segments in number order, so walk on them in this order,1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 4, 5, 6, 5, 6,And that should be that, now enter the door and be on your way!

Living Room: Ok now pick up the newspaper sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch, now pick up the lighter, located on the table also, now open the top drawer in the dresser, and take the screwdriver, now look at the painting and memorize the numbers on the pyramids from top to bottom, use the newspaper on the bottom of the door, then use the screwdriver on the door knob, now click on the newspaper and you get a key, now use the key on the locked door, open door and enter it.

Dark Room: Now you’re in a room with no visible walking space but click on the right of the walk way and some spaces will appear behind were you previously walked so walk all the way to the right as much as possible and it should show you were the video tape is. (If this doesn’t work just do it quickly.) pick up the tape and leave, and go back to the hall way.

Hallway (Of door number 4.): You know what to do,6, 5, 6, 4, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 1, and continue onto the main room.

Main Room: Eject the tape from the VCR and insert the new tape, transfer it and watch them, then eject the tape, now enter door number 3.

Hallway (Of door number 3.): Walk up the stairs and examine the table, now pick up the pen and scribble with it on the blank part of the paper and a number will eventually become visible, then pick up the receiver and dial the number on the paper, now turn the lamp on and off about three or four times, now walk through the newly opened door.  (I did the lamp first then number so if it doesn’t work first then try it in that order.)

Hallway #2 (Of door number 3.): Use the lighter under the sprinkler thing and walkthrough the door.

Kitchen: Open the fridge and grab the tape, now the objective is to hide from the eyes, so walk in the shadow of the fridge and hide there for a while, now get out of this room.

Halway #2 (Of door number 3.): now use the mirror under the lamp and use it with the sprinkler, now memorize the colors of the rainbow and use them in the override thing by the left door, blue, purple, yellow, green, red, orange, was the order for me.

Hallway (Of door number 3.): Just continue on through the door.

Main Room: go to the TV and insert the new tape into the VCR blah blah blah you know what to do, go through the newly opened door.

Hallway (Door number 2.): Click on the big window to look through it, ok now enter the math problems as, 11+13=24, then 11+68+79, then 81+82+163, punish him if he’s ever just a few numbers off, (If you’re numbers aren’t exactly like mine just follow my strategy.)Continue on through the door.

Telescope room (Of door number 2.): Click on the telecope, now point it at the door on the right and watch the girl call somebody and signal the light, Turn the lamp on and off three times. now look through the telescope and then answer the phone, hit the buttons 77553377, now walk through the newly opened door, (If it doesn’t work at first try again!)

Living Room: Click on the TV, now click on the numbers 786., and click on the tape hidden behind the bookcase now go back to main room and watch it!

Main Room: Quickly click on the TV and watch the last tape! Now pick up the TV cable and plug it into the girls neck, (examine her and use the wire with the hole in her neck, now click the buttons 264379851, and enjoy the ending!
