In a refreshing break from the usual spate of Action/Shooter games usually uploaded to Kongregate, we have this little gem of a RPG. Drawn in the style of 90’s RPGs, it is a game that brings a nostalgic moment to older gamers. It may be a bit old now but that doesn’t stop us from still recommending it.
Inquisitive Dave’s game play consists of finding item A, use it at location B, and pick up item C there. Some parts require some more interaction, such as the last boss. However, graphics and game play are not the reason to play this game. Its humorous descriptions and dialogues make you want to click space on everything, just so you can see what would be said or happens (Spoiler Alert! Keep checking the cherry bush, it’s quite funny). It is reminiscent of the Portal AI voice in its unforgettable witticisms.

The soundtrack is supplied by several artists from Newgrounds and on the whole, they work well together. It is worth a replay if you haven’t checked every little thing and to see the final message again (There’s more after the end credits so don’t leave the page so quickly).
This is a game that forces you to think out of the box and provides a new fun interactive style as you are literally drawn into the game. For that, this game is a must-play. And remember, the last fight is a lie!
