yes, he is. his voice is annoying. not just that, he’s been annoying to me since day one. he died constantly on boss fights due to the fact that since he copied everything you do, he would go to hit the boss just after you and fall right through. or the times i would miss a jump onto a triggered moving platform, just to have tails make it, causing the platform to go away, this caused me to die a few times. and he’s orange (I hate orange). his redeeming qualities was that he could fly you around in sonic 3, and he ended up being his own character later on down the road. as for starting the useless character trend? that was bound to happen, every series that goes on for a long time in japan ends up getting over saturated with characters (Dragon Ball Z, Mario, Bleach. Zelda hasn’t gotten that far yet thank god)

Don’t forget Rikku from FF10 for her constant whining and uselessness.200 damage opposed to everyone elses 2000-4000 damage near end of game.I say she’s the worst,although I say Rikku is the 2nd hottest.I say Yuna is hottest and best.Then in 10-2 Rikku actually has a use,but what about her whinig?It’s worse plus she’s still selfish as usual for whining every time Yuna wants to help people,then there’s Brother…Brothers the most annoying,but not playable.When I rank chars I rank playable and I say Rikku’s the worst playable character in the world.

This is just me, but I think that somewhere up the back should be Captain Onishima from Jet Set Radio. I mean, he’s easy to get away from, but with the English dub, his voice really gets on my nerves. Professor K was pretty cool, though.
And, as much as I love the Tekken series, I think that Gon and Dr. B are extremely annoying, and just as useless. Gon is so small that you are crouching for the whole fight just to hit him and it’s hard to see where his hits are going because his limbs are so short. And Dr. B… he keeps falling over. What the hell’s he doing there anyway? I also found True Ogre annoying, in terms of gameplay it was an unimaginative effort on Namco’s part. All they did was create a munted thing bearing close resemblance to a dragon, recycled moves from the character roster, and gave it the ability to breathe fire, which is really just recycling Devil’s laser beam. Nice.

how could you leave out Otis (dead rising) with his radio calls every 3 minutes and him telling you what to do should have put him down as the single most annoying character.
