No the most annoying character was silver from sonic. 1. His voice was deep and bad@$$ one moment and childish and winey the next. 2. He was a freaking ideot and thout that one of the people he could trust was the dark and really spikey guy that knew everything about iblis and 3. He was freaking slow as @#$&

The reason why they added Tails, is to give more choices to favorites in the game series, and they needed more characters for the TV series, which they knew was going to eventually come out after how well Sonic I sold. Honestly, do you think we would have all the Sonic games we do now if Tails and the others hadn’t shown up? Tails just added more excitement to the game. He offered more chance for challenge on the different levels, and to be able to play as more than one character. He provided a way for Sonic to have a technological genius at his side. All and all, I don’t think Sonic should have been the only character to begin with.
