Mirror’s Edge 2D final release
By: Magnalon | February 25th, 2009

Remember that demo level for Mirror’s Edge 2D? Well now the final build is out, and you can check out the link to the game after the jump.
Mirror’s Edge 2D is an independent project that takes the essence of the current-gen console releases of Mirror’s Edge, and distills it in browser form. There are 3 levels, time trial modes, and leaderboards. Be sure and find all the case-files to unlock an additional mode:Baddie Rush. Promised updates are confirmed, so keep running around Faith’s virtual (retro) metropolis in the months to come.

If I were them, I’d be worried about getting sued for trademark infringement…

That is something I didnt think about. Does this developer have the rights to make this or i it just under the radar right nw but doomed to disappear?

EA has been known to give leeway when it comes to creations based off their properties.
For instance, EA has officially sanctioned any and all Little Big Planet levels based off of their IPs.

AMAZING! One of my favorite games this generation well translated to 2D? It animates beautifully as well. Thanks for pointing this out.
