Light Crusader was actually developed by Treasure as it seems (Developers of Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Headdy) and published by Sega themselves

I’m surprised only one person besides me brought it up :S

has anyone ever tried Light Crusader?

i just got it on my emulator, looks pretty good it has all sorts of cool collision detection for stuff like chairs and stuff like that

I don’t know if it’s a homebrew but it has kind of a modern dev feel to it

You really need “Crusader of Centy” up there, its awesome.
Also, if you’re still into the Genesis, there are companies still bringing out RPGs for it!!
I recommend “The Beggar Prince”, “Legend of Wukong”, “Pier Solar” and “Star Odyssey”.

PSHHhhh, WonderBoy in Monster Land, Starflight, Shining Force 1, Phantasy Star 3: Generations of Doom were great, should make this a top ten list instead and get some better games here.

Nothing compares to Shining Force II for me. No love for the original Shining Force? It’s better than Shining in the Darkness in my opinion

I would have to go for Phantasy Star IV as being the top RPG for the genesis. YS3 was even a pretty decent game.
