Kongai the long awaited collectible card based strategy game after what seems like an eternity has finally been released! Was it worth the wait? In one word, Yes!
Kongai is played like a hybrid between Magic: The Gathering and Street Fighter, in the game you can collect two types of cards, characters which you can battle with and equipment used to boost your characters stats.
Initially when you start playing you are given the choice of picking 3 starter characters(cards) to battle with, and to earn more cards for your deck you can either play the weekly featured flash game on Kongregate or there is a small chance to get an extra card if you win a battle.

When you have your cards you can use them to make a deck, your deck is used whenever you go into combat. Thus you want to try to get the best cards and build them into the most effective deck to battle with.
Once in battle each character has a selection of moves, some can only be used in close range some are for long range and some are buffs although ultimately each move is used like a rock/paper/scissors attack, aka hoping to out guess your opponent and use your move to counter his move.
The artwork for Kongai is great and each character is very detailed, although sadly the artwork is static and there is no animation to be seen except a shake when you get you hit.

There is a lot of fun to be had in this game and is definitely worth investing your time into, and the card collecting aspect makes this game all the move addictive.
Casualty Tips
This is a really hard game to give tips for, because while advice may be great in one situation it may not be for another, although there are a few pointers to get started.
- Fight people around your own level
- Make sure your first character out is good at close range fighting
- Speed is very useful, ideally you should have at least one card with an attack speed of 9+
- Make sure you watch whose attack is going to fire first, otherwise you can get pummeled before your attack even goes off.

Hi Conrad, If you are playing Battle Squadron ONE in the fifoce, then maybe a bit risky to use your full name on a public site but we will remain quiet The tilt based control is very much implemented to match the Amiga controls. But maybe it is better if we upgrade it like you an Jin suggest. I will put it on the list for a future revisions. Thanks for your feedback P.S. If you did not already do so, it would be very much appreciated if you rate BS ONE on the App Store Thanks.
