Braid Impressions: Facepalm Edition
By: DanZ | September 17th, 2008

The internet was set ablaze today as a video surfaced in which rapper Soulja Boy gives what may be the definitive review of Jonathan Blow’s time bending Live arcade game “Braid”.

Take a look at the video below, but be forewarned, Soulja Boy may or may not be high as a kite here and the video may or may not be suitable for the workplace. Hint: It’s not.

Braid ‘Soulja Boy Review’ clip

That’s it folks. If you died a little inside while you were watching this you’re not alone. At least we can take some solace in the knowledge that most of Soulja Boy’s fans probably wouldn’t have been interested in this excellent game anyway. They’re too busy rolling along the strip with the top down, blasting hits like “Booty Meat” at maximum volume.

Just kidding Soulja Boy fans. Casualty Gamer still loves you.

Doesn’t the world just suck sometimes?

I didn’t think it was possible that he could annoy me more. His terrible song blasts out over my radio stations, forcing me to switch to a decent one, and now he’s bringing his ridiculous attitude to gaming? Egads, dear, fetch the children and run!

I know I’m really behind the times but I had no idea this kid came out with a hit with a self published song he promoted on youtube. I think SB is pretty cool really. He is a geek like us.
I only discovered this after the Ultimate Braid Review.

Soulja Boy has tried to ruin music, don’t let him near gaming. I’ll have to leave the earth.
