For our third video feature we have gone for a retro theme, the Top 10 2D Arcade Beat Em’ Ups! This video features the first time appearance of our new voice talent ‘P S’ Phil, Enjoy!

ah, this one takes me back, great list.
i was really excited to see the Simpsons Arcade game make the list. One of my fondest childhood memories was from this game. A friend’s parents rented out a local arcade for his birthday one year, and me and 3 other dudes played The Simpsons on free play for 4 hours until we completed it. Awesome time. And I’m shocked that no one has bothered to port this over to a console yet; I would buy it in a heartbeat, and I know I’m not the only one.

I’ve only been able to play a couple of these I wasn’t ever very big into arcade games, too many quarters spent, it’s much easier to ask my parents for 50$ rather than having to run up to them and ask for four more quaters everytime I die.

lol i rly liked the list – played all the games from a small brat .. i m so happy after seeing this . i know i m a hardcore gamer but i didnt knew i played the top 10 beatem up 2d
D i rly got touched when i saw TMNT and i rly liked the 3rd better u should have put it

Golden Axe 3…are you kidding? Everything else I’d go with but not that game. Also Sengoku 3 is waaaay better than the original.
I would have included Crude Dudes and Crimefighters in my top 10.
D&D at No.1 though, good call.
