Atmosphir is a new 3D platform game (in beta) that allows you to choose from a wide span of player made levels with different objectives or create your own using the simple but well built 3D level builder. The gameplay is pretty simple at the moment, you control the character (known as cameron) around player made levels evading hazards collecting power ups, currently it is all on foot and you only have the option to jump (no tacking yet Prince of persia fans) Though a new implement has been added, the bomb which allows you to blow through special blocks or kill lurking enimies.

As we have haven’t caught up on the normal gaming front in over two weeks, I thought it best to do a quick recap of the top stories from our brother site Gamer Limit, check em out after the jump.

After a bit of a wait, here is my latest retro review. Unfortunately I don’t do this full time and real life has a way of wasting my precious time, but tonight I thought I’d take a minute to review the classic racing game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super Mario Kart.

Our friends over at Wolfire Games who are busy developing Overgrowth have just announced the previous installment in their series known as ‘Lugaru’ will be given away for free as a Christmas present! There is a small hoop to jump through to get it (nothing is entirely free), but it still a very small task to do and is well worth it if you want to see where Wolfire games started, check it out after the jump.

Dear Mum, Out here on the front lines, the Jerries, or Germans back home, seem to plentiful. I send out the lads, but they keep on coming. It’s like this war will never end. And I’m concerned about my troops as well, I can’t help but feel for them, but they are bloody well stupid at following orders. Or it might just be my order menu… anyway, I tell them to run to get the cargo supplies that are routinely dropped on the Jerry side, and they don’t hop to it.
Execution is key on everything: from packing up your stuff into your bag to creating games. In the case of eating, to execute eating: you use your utensils, pick the food up, put it into your mouth, chew it, and then swallow it. If you don’t execute it well, you’ll be a toddler who uses his hand to pick up food and swallow food without chewing. That is the point I’m addressing today: If you can’t do it properly, why bother?
In another attempt to get more activity on our forums we have launched ‘Forums games‘, where users on the forum can compete against each other for the highest flash gaming scores. The current game selection is the just the standard affair but expect a bunch of new (..and decent) games to be added over the coming week.

Another Difference game! Wait, make that two! Kongregate hasn’t seen one of these in a while. Despite the simplistic nature of these types of games, they are always fun to play, and these 2 are no exceptions. With the addition of a high score table, it’s even more enjoyable to compete with friends over who is the fastest.

To continue on from yesterday’s flash spotlight of SJORC2 we now have the complete guide, so if you are stuck, worry not and continue reading.
