Well this one surprised me, Sin Mark just appeared on the Armor Games blog. I had never heard of it before, so boy was I in for a shock.
In Sin Mark you play as Akahn a monster slayer set on the task of saving the kingdom with just his trusty bow and handy spells. It’s a pretty simplistic game but it’s great at what it does.
In essence it’s an action RPG, although there’s no character levels or stats to be found here. Instead you can learn new spells as you progress by collecting runes, and obtain trinkets that can boost your characters stats.. although there is only a 1% chance the trinkets will drop.
You can beat the game pretty quickly as it’s definitely quality over quantity, it does have a ’survival mode’ to make up for it’s shortness but survival modes doesn’t really do it for me.
Sin Mark has great graphics, decent music and is definitely worth checking out.

It wasn’t as good as I’d expect, it lacks huge variety. Otherwise it was fun until I got to a act 2 level that made my comp run at like 5 FPS.

Give this game a chance. Consider; this is a 2d bow&arrow game with a spell casting system and mouse/wasd (well, no w&s) controls. You’ll often have to retreat and fight on two fronts: the enemies in your face and the archers far off. A good sized spell bank you have to earn gives you access to excellent combat choice. There is only one boss but that means all of your spells will be useful until that moment (since of course most spells will be useless against him).

I thought is was easy to complete, if you use the trinket that provides you with fast shooting skills it is easy to pull down the dragon.. I dont know if it helped, but I used the 50% armour reduction spell on the dragon, but didnt notice if there were a change though

Too easy
Beat the boss by standing right in front of his melee attack range. He can’t do anything because he will just keep trying to hit you with melee, which isn’t a far enough range to hit. Used regular arrows through out the boss. Best trinket is the quick draw one. Just run through all the enemies attacking really fast.

its really fun, i have to admit, but theres a huge flaw,
when you’re battling far into the game, and theres tons of guys, you go and kill the land guys, then the portals, but as you advance more and more people come, and guess what? the archers still run away, so you never have that big of an opportunity to kill them. next thing you know you go over the hill and theres 8 long rangers that you can kill in one aoe attack, but take down half your health in an instant, and some of them still get away.

and u can beat the dragon with just normal arrows shooting continuously at his head [obviously backing up constantly
it basically takes away twice or three times as much damage as it would have normally

Most games that are you against all odds don’t work as well as Sin Mark did, granted a back up melee attack would have been nice this game is another classic archer experience. Con artist keep up the good work. Also very nice work on last stand that game is awesome.

lol, i somehow got all the trinkets on the first level, i didnt know it was 1% chance xD (and i killed the portals quickly)
i thought it was a pretty fun game, i found a pretty easy was to kill the final boss useing armor decay and normal attack, i frogot bone storm and so i just used fire storm…
i used strength arm for final boss, nice 180 damage if i remember correctly (useing 3 or so armor decays)

yeah this game can be easy or tough depending on what trinkets and runes you get, one thing that i found was the bone walls seemed to hold up better then the rock walls… and the raining fire arrows (forget the exact name) can take out the portals in one shot

just shoot the stalectites above his head they do 450 damage each shot and theyr infinite. lol bets way to kill him plus use 1 of the wall spells to keep him occupuied when shooting the stalectites.

guys i know a kinda cheat.ok so go up to the boss and wait until he stops walkin the if his hammer comes down and does 200 damage to u back up a little(until he dosent do any damage).then if he misses u just keep shootin him till hes dead.hope it helps.

It is a perfect game but one flaw. The destruction runes aren’t all that droppable. I beast game 6 times and i i only got 2 destruction runes each round. TIP:On boss u only need arrow rain the arrows multiply at the right distance. Time it right and you’ll kill in 2 mins.

against the final boss, if you stand between the leg and toes of his front foot, he cant touch you. his stomp is too far back, hammer too far forward, and he’s too stupid to summon minions.
if you want to beat him fairly: wear either a pendant of piercing or a quick draw thing. stand outside his hammer melee range but inside his fire range. shoot stalagmites whenever possible. if he summons minions, either use a storm strike or raise dead/warrior of chaos. it’s not hard, just tedious. by the way, most spells dont do much against him, so use normal arrows
anyways, as for the game itself. its a good game, not too easy, not too hard. though it is repetitive and becomes too easy if you can figure out a good spell combo.

this game was soooooo easy but fun i used bone storm to kill the dragon another trick i know is to use bone or rock wall to block enimies wile u get runes but you probably figured that out already also to kill archers chase after them while shooting so they cant shoot you back there also weaker that way

on many strategy games, I always use a magician character becuz I like kinda magic n stuffs like that.. n not really love to be an archer.. but it is quite exceptionable, this archer has a lotsa magic that we could only find in magician..

To beat the dragon i just kept putting the volcano right under his chin and i took him out on my first try since was also using quick draw. Volcano is the only good and effective spell to use against the dragon.
