I’ll quickly introduce myself; I’m Mr Old Skool, there that was quick!! I’ve been registered as a staff writer here for quite a few months but just never found the time to get an article out, for some reason I randomly decided to do it tonight, anyway enough small talk and on with my round up of the 10 finest games Sega’s console swansong has to offer.

A second comic under CasualtyGamer’s domain is now online, ‘Game Em Up’ is what you might have guessed – a comic about games, but it’s far from competing with Kongtaminated since this one is more focused around mainstream games and the industry rather than online flash games. I apologize for the bad visuals on it right now, but unlike Trash from Kongtaminated I don’t have coding skills great enough to figure out what I’m doing with all this CSS mumbo-jumbo.
Anyway to check out the first 12 strips go GameEmUp , I will try and update it as frequently as I can.
For our third video feature we have gone for a retro theme, the Top 10 2D Arcade Beat Em’ Ups! This video features the first time appearance of our new voice talent ‘P S’ Phil, Enjoy!

A legacy of failure.
I must have thought I was pretty cool as a young lad with a sleek Sega-CD nestled under my Genesis and a sexy 32x sitting proudly on top. Alas, both add-ons proved to be huge commercial flops, earning them both spots on Casualty Gamer’s 6 worst console add-ons list. I don’t mind giving those two away early. We all knew it was coming, just like we all know you’re about to skip to number one anyway. Let’s get on with it. Read more… »

Our latest weekly freebie, Glest, is a fairly standard RTS in the vein of games like Starcraft or Command & Conquer. However, Glest does manage to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack in two distinct ways. It has a unique “tech vs. magic” system where the two sides face off, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The other difference? It’s free. Read more… »
